We believe that everyone should be able to access the resources that support healthy living, regardless of their financial situation. Our Membership For All program provides financial assistance based on verified income. Stop by your local Y to start the conversation.
Nationwide membership
Your Y Membership includes access to every participating YMCA in the country, including more than 35 locations across the Bay Area! Nationwide Membership enables active full facility YMCA members to visit any participating YMCA in the United States.
Community participants and special memberships are not eligible to participate.
You will need to sign a waiver each time you visit a Y outside of your association.
You may visit other Ys as much as you want as long as you use your home Y at least 50% of the time.

How can I join the Y?

Which branch should I join?
Join the branch you plan to visit most frequently, your Home Branch. Your Home branch is the Y you’re registered as a member and regularly participate most of the time. If you are visiting another location more often than your home branch, we will assist you by transferring your membership to your new home branch. Members have access to all of our fitness facilities.
Do you offer financial assistance for memberships?
Yes we offer a financial assistance program, Membership for All. Y memberships and programs are open to everyone, and cost should not be a barrier to accessing services through the Y. Sliding Scale Pricing is available based on income and household size- scholarship funds come from the generosity of our donors. Nationwide Membership allows you to access 2,700+ YMCAs across the US, providing you with a wide range of fitness, recreation, and wellness opportunities wherever you go.
