Keep the Fun Going When School’s Out

The Boonslick Heartland YMCA’s Schools Out Day Camp offers a safe and engaging environment for children during scheduled school breaks. Designed exclusively for currently enrolled Adventure Club participants, this program ensures continuity of care when school is not in session.

Eligibility

K-5th Grades

Schedule

Operates on scheduled school closure days (e.g., holidays, teacher in-service days).

7:00AM – 5:45AM

 

Activities

Active play, swimming, arts and crafts, STEM projects

Registration

Enrollment in Adventure Club does not automatically include Schools Out Day Camp.

FAQS

What are the program goals?

Schools Out Day Camp, just like Adventure Club, is designed with the goal of developing youth potential, and participates in many of the same daily activities as our After School program. For more information, you can visit our After School Program page, or contact our Youth Development Director.

What days are not included?

As an extension of our After School care programs, the Boonslick Heartland YMCA offers Full Day care on scheduled school outings, such as holidays*.

​This does not include unscheduled outings, like snow days.

Schools Out Day Camp is a separate program from our After School care, and requires separate registration.

Schools Out Day Camp is only offered to currently enrolled Adventure Club students. If your child is not currently enrolled in Adventure Club and you want to sign them up for Schools Out Day Camp, please contact our Youth Development Director Cyndi, at cyndir@bhymca.org

Do you accept state assistance?

Schools Out daily fees are not YMCA Financial Assistance eligible
